Carlsbad Spring Show:
As of this meeting the dates for the spring show and pull have not been obtained. Bob Nymeyer and David McDonald are
going to talk to the posse about the 2 or 3rd week of April for our event.
Election of Directors:
A motion to nominate and elect directors was made & approved.
As a result the following directors were replaced: Connie Mac Smith, David Sterett, Ritchie
Wilson and by resignation, Bob Nymeyer with new directors: Frank Ballard (3 yr), Connie Mac Smith (1yr), Dan Judy (3yr), Carl
Day (3yr) A motion to accept the above nominations and close the nominations process was made & approved w/o objection.
Pullin’
Series:
The pullin’series committee met on Saturday Jan 2, 2010, consisting of Ritchie Wilson, Connie Mac Smith, Michael
O’Dette, and Ray Savage it was decided that contestants that participated in at least 2 pulls would be eligible for
an award in the series. It was suggested that jackets embroidered with the club logo and 2009 pullin series be given as awards.
The club will order 17 jackets at approx $63.00 each. Fourteen of these will be given as awards for participants in the series,
the addition three will be given for awards for fundraising during the Carlsbad show and pull, to Bob Nymeyer, Kathy Nymeyer,
and David McDonald for there fundraising efforts.
The 2009 pullin
series awards will be handed out at the 2010 Carlsbad Spring Pull & Show.
A motion to order jackets was made
& approved w/o objection. Several colors are available and if a color more appealing to the female members is available
this motion serves to make this purchase.
Ritchie will check on available dates if a 2010
Pullin’ series is desired.
2010 Fund-raiser: After
discussion, three options were on the table as possible fund rising projects for 2010.
a. Purchase Nita Imel’s
VAC Case tractor for $2000 and sell tickets at $5 each.
b. Purchase Matt Bastista’s John Deere
B and sell tickets at $5 each
c. Doug Whitney has as Alice Chalmers tractor
the he would sell the club also
Tabled.Insurance: The
who, what and how much will be discussed at the Feb 2nd meeting.
Dues:
Once again the annual dues are due, $25.00.
